Trinity Laban’s creative orchestra for young people visit the British Film Institute, Southbank for a creative day of film and music making.

During the summer, 35 young, enthusiastic musicians took a trip to the British Film Institute to experience a cross arts project involving drama, screen writing, directing, comedy, filming and music making. An Animated Response to Beethoven 5

After a lengthy break, Animate local courses returned during February half term for a week of music making in schools across Greenwich, Lewisham, Lambeth and Southwark. Animate Orchestra to perform in the Schools Prom

We are delighted to announce that the South Riverside Music Partnership have been invited to form a massed ensemble to perform at the Music For Youth Schools Proms at the Royal Albert Hall on 12 November 2014. This will feature a four-borough Animate ensemble, alongside students from Junior Trinity and singers from the four boroughs. A total of 600 young people will perform a new commission by composer Kerry Andrew inspired by Benjamin Zephaniah’s poem The London Breed.
