ANIMATE ARTISTS 2017

This year, our programme for Animate Artists includes a performance platform at the Tate Modern as part of Tate Exchange, as well as an artistic collaboration with young dancers for Live at Trinity Laban 2017.

 

WHAT IS ANIMATE ARTISTS?

Animate Artists is a creative ensemble for young people (up to school year 13) who are interested in collaborating with other young artists.

Animate Artists

Animate Artists is a brand new ensemble for young people (aged 12 – 18) who are interested in collaborating with other young artists.

 

During the last Animate Artists project, 25 young musicians worked with a team of young contemporary dancers from Trinity Laban’s Youth Dance Company. Working closely together over five months, the participants devised a brand new performance piece featuring music and dance, and ultimately showcased this piece at the prestigious Laban Building on Tuesday 22 March, 2016.
